Visitor Visa
Individuals from foreign countries who intend to travel to the UK for the purpose of visitor visa. However, a visitor visa is not necessary if:
You possess settled or pre-settled status through the EU Settlement Scheme.
Your application for the EU Settlement Scheme is under consideration.
You are an Irish citizen.
Your plan includes staying or settling in the UK following marriage or civil partnership registration.
You meet the criteria for British Citizenship.
Marriage Visitor Visa
You can apply a marriage visitor visa if:
You are 18 years or older.
You can provide notice of marriage, intend to marry, or plan to enter into a civil partnership in the UK within 6 months of your arrival.
You are in a genuine relationship.
Your visit to the UK is for a duration of less than 6 months.
You have the intention to depart the UK after your visit.
You do not intend to reside in the UK for extended periods through frequent or successive visits, or make the UK your primary residence.
You can financially support yourself during your trip.
You can cover the costs of your return or onward journey.
You possess evidence of any other planned activities during your stay in the UK.
Permitted Paid Work Visa
This visa is available if you are 18 or older and plan to work in the UK for up to one month. Eligibility requires a clean history, an intention to leave the UK at the visa's end, and adequate funds to cover living costs and departure without relying on public funds or services.
This visa is applicable for various roles, including:
1. Highly-Qualified Academic Student Examiner: Conducting subject knowledge examinations for students as part of a selection panel or quality assurance team at a UK academic or research institution.
2. Guest Lecturer: Delivering expert lectures at a recognized UK academic institution.
3. Designated Pilot Examiner for UK Pilots: Examining aspiring pilots according to UK standards on behalf of an approved UK training organization.
4. Expert Lawyer: Legally representing a private client in court, tribunal hearings, arbitration, or other dispute resolution forms.
5. Creative Industry Job: Providing expertise as a professional artist, entertainer, musician, fashion model, or sportsperson on behalf of a UK creative, sports organization, or media.
Jobs Not Covered by a Permitted Paid Engagement Visa: This visa does not cover activities such as self-employment, study-related internships, internships of other kinds, or direct selling.
Documents Required:
When making visitor visa application, you must furnish several documents. The necessary documents include:
A valid passport or an alternative travel document.
Proof of a permanent residence in your home country.
Tuberculosis test results, if mandated by your country of origin.
Evidence of financial capability.
An official employment letter from your employer in your home country, specifying details such as employment duration, salary, job title, and company contact.
If self-employed, documentation confirming your business ownership.
An employment letter affirming your ability to take leave from work and travel to the UK.
Proof of financial commitment from a third party (if applicable). This is relevant when a UK resident, who may be a relative, friend, or business associate, is covering your maintenance costs. Acceptable documents include:
Bank statements of the third party.
Employment letter from the third party's employer.
Proof of income if the third party is self-employed.
A letter from educational institution/UK sponsor. This letter should confirm your intent of visit.
Proof of relationship with UK sponsor.

For creative professionals: Posters, advertising materials, awards, articles, or analyses of your work.
For air pilot examiners: Membership certificate from your home-country national aviation authority.
For expert lawyers: Certificates of practice and good standing.
